a trim question

my friends just bought a 95 maxima from his grandmother. He tought it was a GXE because he has no sunroof, no fog light, no white clusters. He has cloth heated seats. His assurance company sayed to him it was an SE because of the number. Did anyone ever saw a SE like that? He sayed to me that he has VLSD!?. I must say that its car come from Canada.

Not sure if you saw this regarding trim level.....

http://forums.maxima.org/showpost.ph...90&postcount=3

Tell him to decode the VIN to see if it's a Canada car..... See this link.

http://forums.maxima.org/showpost.ph...73&postcount=4

If so, then chances are it has VLSD...

Both links are right out of the stickies......

BTW, you're interior has inspired me to dye the rest of my interior black. All the pillars, headliner, rear deck. After that, It will be all black....except for the carpet.

Also, did you order your carpet from JC Whitney or where?

it turns out i've been using the wrong adhesion promoter so i'm waiting on the right one. hopefully it won't be a huge problem. not sure when it will go in the car... progress has been slow. been working on lighting (leds, retro) while i have been waiting on supplies.

haven't ordered the carpet yet but check out stockinteriors.com

Before we jack this thread into the next century, BlackonBlack you should start a thread with all of your lessons learned from coating interior panels.

You seem to have taken a more scientific approach than most people, please, bless us with your coating knowledge...

i'll put together something when i do the remainder of the pieces.

as for the bulldog, i have read good things about that product but i personally prefer to stay within 1 product line just to be sure the products will react well with each other.
