PCV change today

PCV change today

i just change my pcv valve and when i pull out the old one it has oil on the tip side that goes in the engine its that normal or should worrie?

also i put the new one in and it seems not to go all the way in but i pull it and its snug should it be all the way in?

Wiggle it in. That rubber moulding has been warmed up and cooled down a gazillion times it ought to be a bit britlle and hard.

yes. oil is fine. and no you dont need a catch can.
