95-96 spoiler fit 97-99 trunk lid?

Was wondering whether a 96 spoiler would fit (line up the existing holes) on the newer trunk lid of the 4th gen. thats wing-less ?

95-99 the trunks are all the same. some spoilers were installed by the customer after the car was purchased, and may not have the same holes, or even mounted in the same spot. so there's no way of knowing if the holes will line up without trying it.
the genuine nissan spoiler is the same for every year, and the same goes for the trunk itself.

^ your both wrong. 95-96 and 97-99 are different trunks. The oem spoiler is the same for 95-99 though.

^yes but the spoiler is the same 95-99. Besides the groove in the 95-96 trunk. Every thing he stated is correct, but if you want to get specific, i guess you are correct. When it comes to spoiler, they are all the same.

actually, i was wrong, and the rest of you are too. there's 4 different trunks.

SE has a different trunk from a GXE and a GLE, and the 95-96 is different from a 97-99.

the link won't go straight to it. but if you click it, and search the trunks, they have 4 different part numbers.
95-96 SE--H4300-A32B010
95-96 GXE, GLE--H4300-A32B009
97-99 SE--H4300-A32B005
97-99 GXE, GLE--H4300-A32B006

i wondered that same thing, and searched for it last night because my led is out. according to the parts, the spoilers don't even have a light. there's no part number, and the diagram doesn't even show it has an led.

even if there was a part number for the light.. it would probably be as much as the spoiler

and did you try calling the dealership? or a scrap yard to find out if they have another spoiler/trunk lid?

That's probably because the holes are there for the spoiler...... so there are really only two trunks as far as style is concerned.

To answer the OP's original question...... to what Fanaticrockford said.
