suspension question

i have a 99 maxima with tien s type springs with kyb grs and ive had them in my car for about 2 years but i hardly ever drive the car anywhere the other day i was driving and everytime i would hit a bump it felt horrible. my friend installed the setup for me and my first question is could he have installed them wrong. my second question is it supposed to be thAT WAY becuz if im on the highway it feels great anywhere smooth it feels perfect but as soon as i hit a lil bumb it sucks i want it to ride descent because i love the way it looks

KYB GR2's = Stiff strut
Tien S Type = Very low "sport" spring

Your expecting a nice ride over bumps?

The lower you drop your car, the more of that bump you are going to feel. Too bad it took me 3 differn't springs before I got a decent ride and comfortable

i have the illuminas...they're real nice, but they're harsh too on bumps its normal...i have a 1.5" drop and it still hurts...might drive on softest setting for the summer i think...on 3 in front and 4 in back. its the perfect balance for sport and comfort, but i like the softness

You have no wheel travel. Lose the springs or get shortened Koni, yes im a broken record player.
