Radiator Question
#4
look at the bottom of the rad when you take it off....if there are feeder tubes on the bottom (inlet/outlet tubes, than its an auto rad) but i wouldn't be too conserned with them cause you need to attach the hoses (transmission cooler lines + pressure from engine cycle) that is the only way the fluid will go feed through the lines (IF im wrong ill be damned )

I have a 5sp and wound up with a radiator for an auto is seems, is there a way I can make the radiator work for my car? I bought it from a junk yard a while ago and they asked me if my car was manual or auto and I said manual so I dont know what I'm going to do b/c the place is very sketchy and It was a good amount of time ago when I bought it just did not have time to put it on.

u should still be able to use that rad (like i said if im not mistaken the inlet/outlet tubes on the bottom of the rad are for the auto tran cooler lines) i bought an aftermarket (forgot who) they sold me the auto rad, called them back up and the guy just told me straight up....no fluid will come in or out of those tubes unless there is a pressure cycle. installed it no leaks, no fluid draining from the tubes. the best way to check the one you have is to block the bottom hose, block the overfill line (going to the coolant resevoir) and add water. IF you have a compressor with attachments (blower or sprayer) put your hand over the fill hole wit the blower and blow into that ish.....if it leaks than most likely the one that you have is bad. If not your good to go just take out reinstall new/used one and your good
