Exhaust parts from EVO IX
Hi.
I got exhaust parts which are a down pipe and muffler from EVO IX. The parts was only 10,000 miles so I would like to use my 96' I30 which is 137k on. Is it possible?
Thanks.

sure, its possible, just some major cutting, welding, and paying for all the labor (mostly for the y-pipe).
why not just sell the parts that are for the EVO's ONLY, and buy a y-pipe and muffler for your car? seems like a no brainer to me

You realize maximas don't have downpipes, right? As such, that downpipe is nothing more than a paperweight. I suppose you could make use of that downpipe by mounting it on your hood or trunk or something. Or you could make a necklace out of it.
Also, spending $150 on installing a muffler not made for your car when you could spend $50 on one that is made for your car is not exactly the most intelligent thing I've heard this week.

why are you guys alll such smartasses, his buddy is giving him a muffler from an evo. it looks better and will probably flow a little better then the maxima one, its not that hard 2 make it fit you just cut the stock one off, and weld this one on.....it wont cost 2 much, i had my exhuast shop make me a whole 2.5 inch custom exhuast with a greddy evo2 at the end for like 130$.....but i braught my own muffler......goodluck...would love to see what it sounds like.....
