pulley fell off!!

So im on my way to work when all of a sudden my car jerks once and my dam battery light comes on, i hear something clunking around under the hood so my first reaction was to slow the fk down, i look into the rearview when i see it.....my fking idler pulley rolling down the side of the street=( i pulled into a gas station and ran over to ****** it up...some sh huh...I searched but couldnt find out if the bolt that the pulley sits on is supposed to have play or is it supposed to be attached to the tensioner plate?

The bolt is independent of the IP. Not the first time this has happened, I'm sure. Sounds like it "self destrcted" for sure .... the nut probably was loose and with tension on the pulley, it spun it off. Just get a new one, I think they are like $20 IIRC. Courtesy Nissan for the part and FTW!
