Clunk sounds while going over a bump

Guys, I need help, I have 18's on my car and i've scuffed two of them really bad. Now every since that happened everytime i go over a bump or pot hold it makes this clunking noise.

It's weird to explain but I'm assuming my struts are going back?

PLEASE HELP!!! THANKS.

Bad wheel bearing/s will make a clunking sound, along with bad tierod ends/ball joints/control arm bushings/strut mounts/etc.

If you haven't replaced any of these items recently, start with the cheapest item, then move on to the next.

That's a pretty large ball park.

Could also be the struts themselves.

I had the same problem. Replaced tierods, ball joints, control arms, and bushings. Sound was a bit better, but it wasn't until I replaced the struts that the sound went away completely.

Does any one know what makes a squeeking sound when going over bumps?

I have the same sqeaking sound you're asking about. I hear it every now and then. Mostly when going over bumps like you said. I have not been able to find the source. I replaced struts, springs, strut mounts, rack bushing, rotors, and brake pads, and I still have that squeak.

What the hell is it then?? It's definitely coming from the suspension assembly.

Could possibly only be your sway bar end link bushings..if it is, you're in luck, cos it's cheap and easy to fix. sway bar link kit is sold as a set and can be found at any automotive parts store.

Check your exhaust right before where the y-pipe bolts onto the cat. Mine did the same thing and I looked at it one day and the pipe was loose. I could push it and it would bump the under body of the car, making the same knocking sound I heard going over bumps.

Stick your fingers into the caliper (when it is cool obviously) to see if the pad is rattling around. I have the same problem right now due to the lack of shims which are en route from Nissan.
