today i wanted to check my ignition coils to see how they are and when i check the resistance it did not show infinity resistance like the haynes manual says it show me resistance in the nine hundreds does that means its a bad coil?

 

Compare your readings to the other coils, they should all read about the same. Not sure how you are measuring but if you have a bad one it would measure differently.

 

That's how I test when there's not one specific dead cylinder; look at the difference between coils more so than an absolute reading.
