Alternatives to OEM muffler?

I currently have the following setup on my '97 auto:
-budget y-pipe
-stock cat
-resonated budget b-pipe
-cheapy OEM-like muffler

I think the muffler is blown & there is a leak b/c the muffler's inlet is only 2.25 inches, whereas the b-pipe is 2.5 inches.

Is there anyone that makes an OEM-style muffler with a 2.5" inlet? Ideally I would like to use an OEM muffler, but they're hard to come by. I also want to keep noise at a minimum. Any ideas?

Yes exactly, and with a similar size to the OEM one.

I know you have the same engine as us but not the same exhaust. so shouldnt you be asking this in the 5th gen section?
Just wondering/pondering

I thought the same thing, b/c of his sig. But anyways, Nathan, would something like the Greddy Sp2 or Apexi WS II count? Or you want it more like the OEM finish also?

OEM 5th gen

Some people like the way it looks on a 4th gena nd some do not.

Thanks for the suggestions guys.

I have a spare 2k2 muffler lying around, but I'm not sure how if it'll fit because the inlet seems to be on the wrong side. Will it fit on a 4th gen without too much modding?
