IIRC they might throw a code since the exhaust has not been treated by cats as expected. I thought it would be fine too and then people started talking about relocating them. I dunno, whatever. The main point stands.

As for the intake, a CAI will lose low-end and an ebay intake certainly isn't the best out there. Feel free to show me this proof you speak of.

You must be talking about cali specs y's than, not sure about them but the only code I have ever had was bad O2

Last time there was a thread on intakes, a mod posted his dyno runs with stock box and CAI. It showed noticable power increase thru all rpm range. I've seen major reaction time and get up with my car after I upgraded from my stock air box. I tested out both short ram and CAI and seen improvements in both. No I didn't dyno it but ran my car with friends and they even noticed how much faster it got up with just upgraded intake.

lol that thread got locked, and is the same thread I got banned for a week for quote unquote "threatening" some one lol. It's a long story so don't ask. Since it's locked, it probably got deleted. the mod that posted the results has a 5th gen in his sig and it looks stock I think.
