Isn't that your goal here? That muffler isn't giving you any power, the Y pipe and mid pipe with no res. is giving you the flow you need. Put a stock muffler on it and be done with it. No more tickets!

Seriously.....

i had the same problem with my exhaust (custom 2.5 y pipe and catback) the exhaust crowd put a resonator just infront of the rear muffler (lukey turbo)

didnt really make much of a difference at all, it is a pretty small resonator though.

I don't know quite what you mean? Quiet mabye?

The y-pipe is what makes it loud once you already have a catback. A resonator will not do you any good and if you want to be quiet you are going to have to change out the rear section. Either that or don't rev it out near cops.

my setup is custom made y stock cat, long *** resonator,20' I believe back to a greddy evo style muffler with a smaller tip installed. prior to the resonator, it sounded like ****, after the install, really quiet, no cabin noise, no highway drone, I love it. coming fromthe hondacrowd and being an exhaust *****, I have found that the only way to have sound control is by large sized resonators. I used the same knowelege in the max and it worked. hope that helped. oh yeah, kteller.com has really good prices on exhaust and components. magnaflow resonators and universal mufflers.. check em out.
