Missin the max

Hey all, i used to be an avid member of the .org, until i got rear ended that is. last summer i got hit and my 96 se was totaled i didn't get on the .org for a while cause it just made me miss my car, but i just recently checked it out again, and found that it was the same ol site that taught me so much about my car, and all cars in general for that fact. I didn't get another maxima right away because i didn't think it would ever satisfy me like my car did, so i bought a prelude. that was a mistake. i pretty much hated everything about that car. i had an opportunity to get a del sol with an integra LS motor, so i ended up trading that ****ty prelude for it. the del sol is a little better (more fun with the targa top and such) but it just isn't the maxima. i 'm in the market for another one, but i guess this thread is just thanks to everyone that made me realize how great the maxima is and to everyone who helps people to learn about their own cars, so thanks all.

haha thats why I keep holding on to mine, there are a few cars I have interest in but when I look at them I just don't see anything that will satisfy me the same as the max does now (within reason).

Dude, I told you when you bought the 'Lude you'd be wantin a Max back, didnt even know you got a Del Slow. lol. jk mate. You know Ive got two now man, you need to come back and check it out.
Oh, and there is an I30 for sale here along 66 and Vann. I know NO info about it. looks good, when i looked underneath it, it looked dry, no leaks. newer, so it has a digital odometer so i dont know miles, and it is an auto :-(. its Pebble Beige with the tan leather interior, and bose, and wood grain. Was also a 96 auto in the paper with 100K for 4800. I know you want a 5SP tho. (and if you dont know who this is by now, pm me)

I know exactly how you feel. I had a 97 se 5spd when it started having problems I didn't have the time to deal with. So I got a 05 Altima which was fine but not the same. Well I got rid of the Altima and had to by another 4th gen, a 98 gxe 5spd which it feels great to be back in.
