Startup belt squeel

i've replaced both belts... serp.. and the other one... probably last summer.. and they're now squeeeeeeellling again like black death... is there something that is wearing these belts down quickly? making them slip on startup? anything else to consider replacing other than belts in that area of the engine?

regards

I had this problem on an old chevy I once had. Turns out they needed to align the alternator. Weird problem, but it fixed my squeeling. Not saying nissan would be as careless as chevy, but just thought I'd throw that in.

You just need to tighten your belt. Loosen the bolt on the idler pulley, tighten the tensioner (gold, hollow, long bolt-looking thing), retighten idler pulley. Done.
