well im pretty sure that the vaccum lines off the dek compared to lets say a 00vi swap wouldnt be to much diffrent. so with that said i would be looking into some of the 00vi swap sections and what not. and also have you checked out cesars thread. im sure it covers vaccums somewhere in there. also im pretty sure for the evap that you have to make one of the nipples larger on the right side by the tb cause the one there is too small. and the 5th gen evap wont work with the 4th gen ecu iirc. so im pretty sure you will have to use the 4th gen evap equipment

I took my entire Vaccum Gally off of my 4th gen coolant log and made it work on the 5th gen coolant log. It WONT bolt up to the 5th gen Log as nice as it is on the 4th gen Log, so I drilled a new hole in and mounted it right on the side of the motor, after moving one of the sensors. Its fits great, looks good, and functions better than a bunch of vaccum lines going all over the place.

EVAP needs to stay 4th gen equipment, most of the other sensor are interchangable. MOST being the key word.

cant see pics. but i dont know if yo did a typo or what but you can use the 5th gen iavc and yes you turn it and you have to hack off the plastic and remove the rubber seal inside to make it fit on the 5th gen iavc. and yes your y-pipe should hook up.

are you using a 00 engine or a 01 engine? the reason why i ask is the egr equipment. i imagine you are keeping them so i can see why the vacuums would be overwelming. when i did my swap i said the hell with it and chucked my egr. made life a little easier but i realize you might not have that option.

i might be doing this swap soon seeing that my engine has about 160k on it so........... time to bring out the dek just laying in my polebarn

oh yeah host with photobucket it works great for me

i really want to keep the egr but i really just want to know how all the vacuums hook up i took off the gally or what evr its called i have a pretty good idea but theres a bracket on top of the intake thats confusing me and theres a vacuum on the manifold right behind the tps, and theres a vacuum hose thats sticking up on the timing chain side of the motor down where the knock sensor sits where does that go?

i belive that would be your brake booster line which would hook up to the far left side where only one nipple is

Holy crap. Use the search. And periods. Man, you need to get a Haynes manual and follow their figures. It's really easy, you just need to take your time and think it through. Also- All-Motor- Probably a better idea than in here.
