for my next little project, i'm going to add individual white LEDS for each gear selector display.

You have a spare one that your working on right?

I still don't think the gear selector in the dash would look good. But your choice....

If u dont like the 3 led's, on the door panel, have u thought of angling them down a little bit so they light up the ground? Then from the top kinda paint the led's top half black so it only lights up the ground? I thought of trying something like this seeing yours I might do it. I just wouldnt want those lights visible except on the ground. Great job on all your led projects by the way!

well i still prefer w/o them but they kinda grown on me. i don't think i'm going to go that far though. if you were to do that, you would have to drill at an angle and then insert the leds. it still lights up the ground well even as they are.

the way to go would be put the 3 leds on the bottom of the pocket pointing towards the ground and run them off the door light switch. i was gonna do that at one point.

just use a brighter led. i'm not sure how that board is set up since i have a 98 with dcc but try to solder off the board. i.e. if its an led just cut the head off and solder the new ones to the legs rather than removing/replacing the entire led. other than that just watch your heat.
