can anyone help me identify this problem my car is having

Ok so lately my car has begun shutting down on me... what i mean is when the car is all warmed up and i have been driving it for a while the car just shuts off when in gear but before that the car is just vibrating and shaking (it is a similar experience when you are in 1st gear and dont give enough gas, or something like that) I have been driving the car properly though...
So i remember that i have done service like spark plugs, wires, fuel filter not too long ago, and air filter is ok.... i dont have check engine light either. I have gone to a mechanic and they told me it's the thermostat going bad, so i replaced it, but still no progress.

So, does anyone have a clue what that might be? I am thinking it might be some sensor....

Glad you had your plug wires done....even though these cars don't have them.

Is there a CEL? MAF might be one thing...it could be a vacuum/gasket leak.
