96 max stalls rolling over bumps in neutral

I have a 96 se 5spd and whenever I'm rolling to a stop or around a corner in neutral and I hit a pot hole or bump the car stalls. It starts up imediately and sometimes idles high afterwords (like 11000rpm). I couldn't find If annyone has had this problem and was able to identify it with the search. I could really use some advice this is getting real old. Thanks

11000rpm?

yes I didn't proofread its 1100rpm. thanks for the help but ive searched and read those threads already and manny more and have not found anyone with a stalling issue related strictly to going over bumps or potholes. allot of the posts with stalling issues involve a CEL or ghost code which i dont have , those previous posts are all about random stalling or stalling when coming to a stop. and if you read those threads fully youll find that the other people with problems stalling have not been able to resolve their problem. so exactly what was i supposed to learn from those threads? something about torque converters when i have a manual and another post with no resolution to the problem thanks buddy.

stalling

I have had other issues with my car starting HARD, and I am extremely new to having a Maxima, but some of the things that I would look at would be check where the main harness and the ECM connect. Check your grounds, battery cables AND alternator. Sounds like you lose power/connection with the jolt of the pot hole. If it starts up right away, my guess that it could be your ECM, the over revving would be a natural reaction to engine not burning what was in the cylinders from when it died and was restarted. Possibly not any of these, but its where I would start.

Very likely to be a bad connection with the MAF or the throttle position thingy ... the plug/socket connection is the thing to check. When the engine is running wiggle the connectors and see if you can make the fault happen.
Another way of checking is to buy a can of cold spray and 'freeze' each plug-socket connection in turn. Actually this last method is great for finding bad solder joints in the sound system, too.
