digital clock keeps resetting?

well my digital clock will randomly reset while driving etc. It doesn't go to 12:00, but to a few hours ahead or so. Is this as simple as a new bulb needed or is it more technical?
Any help is much appreciated

+1 I've heard a lot of people having this problem and they fixed it with a new clock.

Where did u buy ur clock from? I bought one on Ebay and it did'nt work. Do you think it may be a wiring problem. Also, there was'nt a clock in car when I purchased it. (99 max se)
