2001 springs on a 1999 maxima gle?

Are the struts the same for both of these models and will I get much of a handling boost by putting these springs into my 99 maxima? I take it I would be able to use these springs on my 99?

Even if they did fit (I'm not sure if they do or not), IIRC the A33 weighs quite a lot more than the A32. If you thought our cars had a high ride height, I'd love to see it with springs designed for a heavier car

How about springs from a 4th gen SE? Would it improve handling noticeably?

Before I dropped mine, I had some Se springs, felt a tad stiffer than gxe/gle, but not too noticeable. Same ride height as well. Just get a set of h&r or something with a mild drop.

Wouldn't I have to upgrade my struts if I used aftermarket springs?

might as well. Since you have to take everything apart, go ahead and change them so you don't have to do it twice!!!!!

That is not what I am going for. You can buy SE springs for next to nothing. I want a cheap upgrade and thought this would help some.
