EGR Codes

I have the following codes 1005 and 0302 both are EGR codes. 1005 states that it is EGRC Solenoid valve. Do you all know if the 1005 code could have triggered the 0302 since it is a basic code? I also would like to know if this code have gotten this code because of EGR valve gasket? All opinions are welcome.

the 0302 is a flow code. More than likely your egr pipe is clogged. The bigger pipe that goes from the intake manifold to the egr valve. The other code is a green sensor plug.

Well, I'd test it first. Most of the solenoid valves can be tested by blowing through them while applying battery to the coil.
You can hear them click as well.

That shows you what the egrc valve looks like. Your egr pipe is located on the far right top portion of the intake manifold and goes down into the egr valve.

I notice that I did not have a pipe connected to my egr pipe. I am guessing that this could have caused the 0302. I have not had time to look and see just yet been on vacation. Do you think that the light gas fumes could be coming form this. Do you have a picture or a part number for the green sensor plug?
