How to replace light bulbs?

I know this is a really stupid/easy question hence why I couldn't find it upon searching but what do i have to do to replace the headlight bulb? My right lowbeam is out. The only step i know is disconnected the battery help please or point me to the right direction. Thanks in advance

open hood, find headlight housing, find plug where bulb is plugged into housing, unscrew retainer, twist plug, remove plug, remove bulb.

u could have someone at autozone do it for u rather than get flamed to death here

i wouldn't mind getting flamed this forum is relatively mild. I don't get the elitist ******* vibe from it haha. thanks for your help i'm gonna be off to autozone now to get the bulb

For a headlight bulb, you do not need to disconnect the battery.

Go to the back of the headlight and gently twist the black plastic housing you see that corresponds to the bulb that is out. Once out, you'll see how it fits only one way.

It also sounds like you don't have your owner's manual handy.

Go to the link below, print out your year Maxima, and read it/keep in handy for when you have basic questions like this.

9004 bulb. i don't see how your low bean can just be out. the same bulb is low and high beam
