00VI swap help

ok i'm like 70% done with this swap just got a couple more questions:
this is how you bypass the TB coolant line correct? kyle...

after bypassing, what do i do with the end of the port in the yellow circled area below since i'm removing this hose?:

for the yellow circled hose below, can i just cap that off? what is that?
and for the blue circled, is that fine where its connected to?

Yes, that is what I was referring to on the phone.

I just left the hose there, it will do no harm.

For the last picture,

Where is the source of the other end of the yellow hose?

And is that the fuel pressure reg vacuum source for the blue?

This is why I eliminated my vacuum gallery As long as you mark every hose, you can unbolt that sucker and just make sure everything that needs vacuum gets vacuum more or less using T's (yes, tees is what I was saying over the phone ).

the end of the yellow hose i think goes to the small nipple port on the USIM

so where should this go on the 00vi or what should i do w/ it?

and the blue one is connected to the EVAP canister purge control valve:

is that hose fine where it is?

When I did my swap, not only did I get rid of the vacuum gallery but I also got rid of all those annoying brackets and metal pipes and what not. I just connected things together with one rubber hose and left it at that.

Also, thanks for posting that pic of the area where the IACV bolts up...I think I forgot about that one when I put my stock manifold back on and it could explain my slightly high idle

Why did you put your DE manifold back on, out of curiosity?

Maf good? Temp sensor plugged in? all connectors tight? Double check every hose and see that both ends are connected where they should be. Can you hear the pissin sound of air gettin sucked up an open-ended hose?

maf is good except for the gasket and adapter. gasket expanded so i cut it a bit to make it fit in the groove just temporary and the adapter is somewhat cracked and not flush w/ the maf. all hoses are secure, some don't have clamps but thats b/c they are already super tight to fit on. i will double check the hoses though.
when i went for a test drive, i heard a hint of squeling sound in the engine bay, dunno if thats normal or not.

Sam,

Take your intake off the TB, put some duct tape over the TB opening to make a seal. Then remove the brake booster hose on the metal end, and blow through the hose. That will tell you where you vacuum leak is, if you have one.

i actually just tried that, well sort of.
i really, really didn't want to take the whole air intake off b/c it was a pain to get the rubber thing on the TB itself so i just took the air filter and the maf off and covered the hole w/ some seran wrap. and i did what you just said. i didn't really hear or feel any other leaks. i double checked all my hoses, there fine.

im thinking its either the 4rth gen IACV itself or a possible misfire. the CEL came up during test run so i will go check and see what they are...

0605: cylinder 4 misfire

1205: line pressure solenoid valve (this doesn't matter)

1302: MAP/BARO SW Solenoid valve

in what way do the cylinders go? is 4 is the rear left one? how much do coil packs go for?

and for the MAP/BARO, should i just replace that or what? anyone have a pic of that?
