just bought yet another max

im on my 3rd maxima...

#1 95 se..owned for a week until carfax revealed that the odometer was changed...got money back... had 235k odo said 135

#2 95 se payed 2500 for it... needed sensors...oil pan...some other ****...finished it drove it for 2 weeks and spun a rod


#3 99 se...mint condition only 71k miles owned by a college professor/nissan enthusiast. gun metal grey. pay'd 6000 for it. ill post pics soon

How did you spin a rod? You mean spun a rod bearing?

Horrible sound when you run the rod bearing ... not a disaster on a Max, though. My Gen 3 motor in the Villager ran three big ends and the parts and labour didn't amount to that much. So do not fret if you run a rod bearing.

actually this has taken place over almost a year...the rod bearing accident happened in december and im just getting the new car soon....ill have pics up by monday
