Want to hear a crappy exhaust

My car developed a leak right at where the cat meets the b-pipe. It's really bad too. Already didn't like the 3" exhaust...this is even worst.

It doesn't sound that bad from here. I hear half exhaust/half supercharger.

On a side note, it seems you're always fixing stuff!!

I know...my car is the definition of 'gotta pay to play'. I'll likely be changing exhausts here soon. I got a 2.5" catback with a greddy sp2 exhaust that I'm trading someone with.

It looks like my cat/b-pipe flange is all goofed up. The b-pipe sits really low to the ground because of the diameter, and it doesn't clear the rear axle all that well. So every bump on the road and speed bump over time must of bent the flange on the b-pipe. I can see the gasket sitting out when looking too.

The sound of the SC makes up for anything your car might be lacking (such as a sealed exhuast system.) I know the 'gotta pay to play' routine. Try to imagine having to swap a turbo every 1/4 mile run because you can't afford a good tune, resorting to a backyard cluster tune consiting of diodes, resistors, capacitors, and various fittings from Sears hardware's plumbing dept. I'm not talking about the maxima, just a past experience with a different car

It's the flux capacitor pump. Needs new seals.

99blackmaximams: dude, if you have an aftermarket ur gonna replace with stock i'll buy it you change back anytime soon.

BTT: it sounds like Santa's elves making toys in your exhaust j/k. Its not that bad, your SC kinda cancels it out....

I think it's your blinker fluid pump. That is what happens when you let the fluid get too low.

Angry crickets FTW!

Dammit! I knew it was too low too.

I think your crickets are more angry than mine.

So I changed out the exhaust today. In sake of keeping the noise/drone down, I sacrificed power...that sucks...but it sounds so much better in the car. It also turned out that one of the bolts holding the b-pipe to the cat broke off.

Anyway, the next exhaust includes a stock cat, and a greddy SP2 cat-back, this is in combination with my cattman 3" y-pipe. It was a trade with mastercater7...and my only cost was the install since there was some cutting and rewelding that has to be done.

After this, I discovered that I can only walk away from a 4th gen with a 3.5 and EU instead of run away. Now I need EU.

3.5 swap + EU > S/C JWT ECU.

Video is coming.
