New to the forum...

hey guys, the name is Mark and i own a 95 Maxima SE Auto. I tried to see if there was a particular part of this forum for "new members" but i didnt have any luck so if i posted in the worng place, my apologies. well i have been a nissan freak for the past i dont know 20 years. been working on them for the past 15 years.I have owned 7 240's including my current S14 "better known as a death trap" with a 500+whp R34 RB25 NEO..lol..its my toy unlike my maxima which is my daily driver. I do love my Maxima dont get me wrong guys, but ive got soo much invested in the other car i dont want to have two toys ..lol. currently i am working at the local nissan dealership as a service technitian. i wanted to come in here to see if there was some people whom i might be able to help out if they so needed it. Anywho, back to my Maxima. My Maxima has a mere 79k on the clock and was previously owned by an elderly couple whom i took care of the car for at the dealership. i knew the car was a well maintained piece cause umm well i did most of the work to it..lol. The back seats never even look like they have ever even been sat it when i bought it..Cant say that anymore though seems how ive got two little girls..lol

honestly, i very much like the Zenki front end compared to the Kouki 97-98 and the S15 front end...when you look at that car you can tell pretty damn quick that she is ALL business..i didnt choose to convert the front end design because i didnt really like the other front ends. i mean the S15 is nice and all but you can see them damn things on civics and DSM's for peets sake. nah ill stick my my factory Zenki and be blowing by the other posers with no problems..lol

You spelled "technician" wrong. Hate to nit-pick, but it IS your profession!
Me and a couple buddies did several gal/sec air flow tests comparing foam/sponge type filters and paper cone type. We determined the paper filters flow considerably better, while the foam type is best for limited space. This was done on 3 different build 1.8T engines (mine and theirs). We used vag com (obd2 diagnostic software for laptop) and for the life of me I can't find the graphs/results. I'm surprised you're even using a MAF! Are you running a 100% vta bov or a fully recirc. dv/bypass valve? Whats the tune?

tune was done on a mustang dyno using datlogit software to tune my Apexi power FC
