PW issues! no control/locks on D/S, P/S window stuck down!

Ok, was on the way to the car today after work, as usual I unlock the car with the fab, and then hold down the unlock to lower the windows.
All doors unlocked except for Driver's side,
Passenger window went down, driver's side did not.

I have no control from the D/S switch whatsoever, it does illuminate.

I also have no control at any other window switch, they all illuminate.

So my passenger window is stuck down now.

Where should I start here I'll be checking the BCM and relating fuses tomorrow first, after that I'm not quite sure where to go if the fuses check out...

I do have a multimeter on hand, and can check the harness at the D/S if that is the best course of action next, but where should I be checking?

Any direction would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance guys, great love to the .org.

Matt

Edit - as well I have done all the switches with LED's, and somehow the rear window controls at the driver side switch were reversed
ie. when you press the left rear switch on the Drivers door control, the Right rear window operates, and my left rear window does not operate by the Driver's control, but does work at the Right Rear door switch.
I doubt its relevent, just wanted to add as much info as possible.

had the exact same prob after led's and rolling windows down from the fob. don't know how to fix the reversed switches so i just left them...but the windows down - i had a short in the d/s door light - my switch started working right after i pulled the bulb out. i hope you'll be INSPIRED after this one

Sounds like your master switch is fried. Does the drivers door light illuminate? For the rear window problem you have your rear switches on the wrong side. Meaning you installed the rear drivers switch on the passenger side and vice versa.

I was replying to the original post.

Did you remove each rear switch one at a time and do the leds? Or did you remove both at the same time? If you removed both at the same time then you just put the switches back on the wrong side. The passenger and drivers rear switches may look the same and plug in the same but this is the problem you will have if there reversed.

I'm on my way out now to check the fuses, and probablly pull apart the master after that.

But I don't understand how it is possible that mixing up the rear switches can matter, the harnesses going to them are still the same, they are what sends the signal....
But I may try it anyways, for now I need to get something working.

All fuses are ok, in response to fanaticrockford

the light IS out. all the lights for the switches illuminate, the door light does not. If the master switch is no good does it cause all switches to stop working??? Gotta head to work, will pull apart the master switch tonight or tomorrow.
Thanks for the replies so far.

If the master switch is fried the door light will not illuminate. It will cause all the other windows to not roll down or up.
I can guarantee you the rear switches are backwards but you will have to fix your master switch first.

All right, well I checked fuses first, that was a waste of time, apparently the bass just shook the plug from the back of the master switch!! DUH

Happy thats all it was though.
Thanks again for the replies. I'm going to try swapping the rear switches tomorrow, I'll post back.

Thanks very much, that was the issue.
I'll have to pull apart the master switch to try and find out why the D/S rear window wont roll down with the master control

One of the button type things (hard to explain) probably fell out of the master switch for the switch that operates that rear window.

^^I know what you mean by 'button type things'. I have a couple other things to tend to but when I find the issue I'll post it back to hopefully help any others
