att those who have headers on the there max

try searching about topic but could not find anything on my question.
anyway was driving on highway and the highway was stripped to get paved and hit those sewer lids and bent my buget y pipe destroyed it . so i said u know what might as well go headers and a new y pipe so what brands are good n how much they cost went on the cattman web site and there nothing on headers but i heard they make them is this true? are headers worth it on our cars i hear just get the y pipe. so those who have headers is worth it and do u feel the power just like when u put the y pipe. oh yeah can u buy a different y pipe n put headers cause i heard with the cattman u gotta have cattman y pipe headers i have a buget y pipe and b pipe so should i order headers and buy a another buget y pipe. please help me and if u can and post up some web sites. thanks and peace out

yeah cattman does make headers and y-pipe... but imo, u will be better off with just a good ypipe... to me i would do headers after i have done every bolt on there is for the maxes...

Cattman does sell headers, check out the group buy section, or better yet just do a search for Cattman headers on the forums.

They come with there own Y-pipe that can only be used with the headers.

I believe that headers are more beneficial in the 99's as the pre cats are in the factory headers. In previous models the precats are located in the y-pipes. for the 4th gens anyway. Not too sure about 5th gen and up.

FYI:

For max gains, get headers. The y-pipes that are available today are not equal length, therefore sound like caca, and do not provide the gains they should.

Nothin' but great advice in here.

I'm rockin' Cattman headers FWIW. Extremely time consuming to install, but well worth it in the end.

Also, don't go by Cattman's website, it's extreeeemely outdated. Give Brian Catts a call, he'll be more than happy to answer your questions.
