Clutch problems

Long story short, I took my transmission out and put it back in again.

When I disconnected the clutch operating cylinder , I just unbolted it from the transmission and removed it from the clutch fork. I never messed with the hydraulics at all.

When I put the transmission back in, a friend of mine tested out the gear linkage from inside the car, out of habit he pressed the clutch pedal and it stuck to the floor. I didn't realize he did this, so my clutch operating cylinder was fully extended for about a day and I didn't realize.

Well, now that it is all back together, I have a REALLY soft clutch and the pedal doesn't even come up more than halfway. Does anyone have any ideas? I can't see why I would have to bleed the system since I did not disconnect any fittings nor does there appear to be a broken line or leaking fluid.

I tried bleeding it a bit, but it didn't do anything for me. Does anyone have any ideas?

Bleed it more, a vacuum or pressure bleeder works best on the clutch master/slave circuit.

Hmm weird, you know the bleeder valve up by the strut tower? I hadn't bled from that one because I couldn't crack the valve open before, it was stuck. Just now I managed to crack it and closed it right up again, just a wee bit of fluid spurted out. Now my clutch pedal feels fine. Hmm...oh well, I'm not complaining lol.
