Why flywheel bolts?? what snap ring are you talking about? I dont recall a pilot bearing either.

 

We don't need a pilot bushing, there's no reason to replace the flywheel bolts, and there are no snap rings associated with the clutch assembly.

He's used to the 2JZ apparently, so they may do that with every clutch change, who knows.

So is the pressure plate effected by the lightweight flywheel? Like should I be buying one with less clamping force? or I mean not over-doing it with one with too much.

What difference between 95s and 96s is there supposed to be a debate about? I don't recall ever hearing about any differences. I've got fidanza on my 95. I wouldn't bother with it again unless I got a great deal like I did on the last one, $80.

 

Something about the '95 being different with respect to the flywheel, or the end of the crank or something. I believe it started because Fidanza lists compatibility '96-01.

Fidanza listed the flywheel for 96-01 and thats were most of that came from I remember hearing the 95's have 1 less bolt for the flywheel.

 

It totally slipped my mind that the engine in my 95 is a 2003, so I guess what I said earlier about having a fidanza on my 95 doesn't mean much lol.
