is this a good deal?

and i heard i have to cut some shiz to fit them in my 97 max...what's the risk here? i also heard they don't fit 100%...i don't want it to look trashy! what if i cut too much? what if i cut something i shouldn't? does anyone have a close up of these on a 4th gen max?

 

I think you can just bend the metal piece back. You don't have to cut it off.

Just so you know there will be a gap between the corner light area and the fender. People have used Weatherstripping to cover it up.
