Car Stalling???

I decided to revive my old 97 max and pass it down to my little brother as his 16th birthday present. So far i've been doing pretty good on the whole restoring issue but i have encountered a little problem.. the car starts and runs good but everytime i slow down it stalls out. What could that possibly be.. i don't know where to start looking for the problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

The idle air can cause that problem also check the throttle body and make sure its not dirty, also check to see if any vacuum hoses is off or has a crack in it.

MAF, idle solenoid.. theres a bolt you can adjust to maybe keep your RPM's at the appropriate balance. may be a power issue or possibly TB

4 things right there to check for

+1 on cleaning the throttle body. My brothers maxima just kinda choked out several times and bought some CRC from Advanced auto and cleaned it....Started right up with no problem and hasn't died since.
