Ohh Man, The Sound On That Exhaust

Ohh Man, The Sound On That Exhaust
I GOT MY NEW EXHAUST INSTALLED TODAY, I GOT A RACTIVE MUFFLER WITH A 4 INCH ROUND TIPO AND A STAINLESS STRAIGHT PIPE. NO CATALIC CONVERTER OR RESINATOR. ALL GONE. IT PRODUCES A NICE DEEP GORGLE SOUND. SOMETHING LIKE A VR6 JETTA BUT DEEPER. THE CAR FEELS QUITE A BIT PERKIER. EASY GOING. WOW!

I'd really like to hear it. I'd like to run exhaust on my maxima... but I'm too concerned that it will sound like a weedwhacker or a bumble-bee like most I4 & V6 exhaust that I have heard. I absolutely hate the generic ricer "farting" sound heard from so many civics and accords running around these days. I owned a LT1 Z28 and a 302 Cobra before this car, and I have a silverado truck now, all with aftermarket exhaust- and I'm too acustomed to the truely deep rumbling sound. To be honest, if I could buy an aftermarket exhaust system that was no louder than stock, but had the same power-gains as the normal aftermarket exhaust setups, that would be optimal... unless maximas really do sound good.
Could somebody link me to any sound files of an aftermarket-exhaust maxima?
Thanks,
-Kyle

i'll see if i can't get a sound clip of my I30 with my exhaust sound...
FYI...i pulled up next to this little civic with his exhaust today...and he revved on me and started to drive and look at me...so i got up beside him and revved a little bit...so, he backed off and didn't want to race anymore. My exhaust sounds like a 25 year old man, and his sounded like a 12 year old kid...total difference...!

I just put one of those ractive mufflers on my max the other day. I like the sound of it, it has a nice and deep growl to it. I've scared plenty of hondas. I already had a y-pipe and with the new muffler, you can really hear it the y-pipe. I'll get some good sound clips of it up in the next few days. I think I will keep my stock b-pipe for now so the exhaust doesn't become overbearing.
