Key broke in ignition... any ideas?

My Key broke off in my ignition yesterday.... at first it wasn't too much of a problem because I could still stick the little nub left in and I could still start it and lock the doors. But then I tried to get the rest of the key out and now the key wont turn at all . any ideas on how to get it out?

I doubt that would work.

Try putting a tiny drop of superglue on a matchstick, and then stick that matchstick into the broken part of the key in the ignition, and try to pull out.

The key isn't made of steel, so its not magnetic enough for the magnet to work.

I'm kind of worried about putting glue in there and getting things gummed up and gluey.

Exactly how much of the key is broken off?

You'll likely have to remove the lock cylinder and "dump" the broken part out.

Try a dental pick.
Magnet will definitely NOT work. Keys are mostly brass.

i would say locksmith or tiny pin-tipped sharp tweezers.

This happened to me. The only way the locksmith was able to get it out was he had to take these special hand screwable drill bit things and actually screw them into both sides of the key and then yank it out. I guess mine jammed or wedged in there or something.
