Good fuel pressure regulator?

Well my stock one took a crapper on me. I would like to replace it. i semi searched and found things about 5th gens fpr.

Links would be great, model #'s etc. i need to replace this asap this is my daily driver.

I call local shops around and they all tell me i can only use a universal fpr..trU?

Why not replace it with another stock one from Nissan? You don't need an aftermarket fuel pressure regulator unless your running an entire upgraded fuel system for some reason (example high boost turbo or supercharger) and it's still not a requirement there.

And yes, you can only use a universal AFPR if you decide to go aftermarket. No one makes one specific to the Maxima, why would they?

Would of helped if the OP disclosed this info and his setup from the beginning......

Even still, an AFPR is still not a must like Matt stated. All depends on the set-up and what one wants to achieve.

Sorry OP, can't really recommend a great AFPR based on experience; I'm still using the OEM FPR FWIW and have no problems at my power level.

Agreed, and actually should have posted this in the FI section.
Last I spoke to him he stated that his FP was crazy high, so if the OEM FPR did die another OEM unit should be fine since he is running the JWT ecu.

What none of you have heard of a Nismo AFPR? They fit the rail just fine.
