mevi installed rough idle

After installing the MEVI with Nissan Van Can, Solenoid, and RPM switch I have bad idle issues. The MEVI kicks in 100%, the actuator opens all the way. How ever when I'm idling I can hear a wissing sound like a vac leak and the car feels like its about to stall out. Has anyone experience this and have a solution. The vac source I chose was from the fuel pressure regulator.

Will the EVAP system cause my car to run extra rich and cause ruff idle? It has a smell like its running extra rich. The port that the EVAP connects to on the intake manifold is smaller then the input on the USIM. So I got an adataper and connected a 3/16" hose to the EVAP hose and routed it to the intake manifold. I have to give it a test tomorrow I guess. If anyone has any ideas just lemme know. Thanks.

If you say you hear a vacuum leak, chances are more likely it a vacuum leak.

Ok I have an update. I realized that the EGR was leaking vacuum. It was sitting on the port, however I forgot to bolt it on. There was no gasket in between the manifold and the EGR. I bought a gasket, bolted it on, and still I can hear a leak coming from the EGR. When I place my hand around the EGR, you can hear a difference in the hissing sound. I'm going to remove the entire manifold today again and start from scratch.

I took off the entire manifold and come to realize the gasket autozone sold me was too small. One bolt screwed in through one hole, when I screwed in the last of the 2 bolts, it must have pushed the gasket to the side and left a open leak. Too late to finish it now, I'll work on it in the morning and see what happends.

ALL DONE!! Finally... I sealed the EGR valve with a appropiate gasket. That solved the vacuum leak. When I started the car, it was still idling rough. I read the OBD II and it said a mis fire occured. Now normally I would have checked but I became so pissed off I started slamming all my tools and braking stuff. Then my mom told me to make sure I didn't leave anything loose, and LOL I forgot to connect one of the spark plug coils with the wiring harness. The MEVI will dominate the USIM all day any day. I don't even notice a torque lose, I actually notice a better throttle response. Nevertheless after 1st gear I stay in my high range with the JWT ECU and MEVI. I live in a city but I dont race from stop sign to stop sign, red light to red light. In my opinion there's no point in racing through a city where innocent people can get badly injured from wrecklessness. To each there own, thanks to those that gave a bit of advice.
