Manual Trans neutral switch leak

Has anyone else had their manual transmission neutral switch leak. I'm speaking of the oval looking black cap on the drivers side of the transmission with the wire coming out of it. I think the Haynes manual called it the "neutral/park" switch. I don't know why a manual trans would have a neutra or park switch in the first place, but i guess it does... and mine is leaking MT-90 on my floor...not much, but probably a tablespoon/month. It's incredibly easy to change it out... nothing in the way, one bolt, but i'll probably loose good quality redline fluid... bummer... anyone else ever have to do this?? I tried putting some of that blue gasket maker rtv stuff around it, but it still leaks...I wonder if i missed a spot, or if th fluid is under pressure at all and blasted through.

Any ideas??
