creeky noise everytime I turn the wheel

I guess the title explains it all... over this past summer I've noticed this creeky noise everytime I took a u-turn or sharp turn. Now that summer is ending, I can hear it everytime I turn the wheel (even a little bit). The noise is getting louder and louder.

Does anyone have an idea about what this could be?

thanks, R.J.

Check CV boots. if its rip just replace shaft bc the difference in price is almost the same and less time fixing the boot.

does it make the sound while your turning the wheel. or when the car is in motion and the wheel is already turned?
if its while turning its probably a strut top bering.
if its during a turn it could be a axle or a wheel bering Id check all three.

If its making noise all the time its a little too late to just change the boots. You need new CV joints and boots, some guys here do it themselves, I had mine done by my mechanic for $75 each.

Check your front sway bar end links, Mine were creeking and still are, just haven't got around to fixing it, I can actually pull on mine and it will make the creeking noise.
