Storm in chicago car got flooded got a p0134 code.

i think i remember the code right well today we had the worst weather of the year my car was a foot in water ( no water inside tou ) my car gave me the p0134 code. and this is 2 weeks after i change ALL OF MY oxygen sensors? what u guys think the sensor get fried? or should i just reset the code when its dry see if that sucker comes back.

Reset the codes, drive around, see if it comes back. Also check the sensor itself and the harness connectors.

did you use direct fit or universal sensors when you changed them?

He probably did a lousy splicing job and the code, by chance, just happened to pop up after the storm

I'd bet your connections got water in them and are now corroded.
now go spend some money on some direct fits and do it right.

i just spent over 130 for NGK direct fit OE replacement, when your good to the car it's good to you....
