How far off can the tire size be before the ABS light comes on?

so I'm stuck with leaving my car parked because I got a flat that is not repairable and the spare makes my diff complain (VLSD).
Right now I don't have the money to buy 2 new tires, but I do have a pair of brand new 205/55/16s in the garage. I know that they will be 1.7% off on speed.
The question really is will using them on the front cause the ABS light to come on since they are smaller than the rear?
my only other option is to go with some slightly used 225/50/16s that are in the garage.
neither of these are a long term solution, but hopefully it will do until I can afford the couple hundred to buy 2 NEW tires.

tire size won't cause abs light to come. the sensor is reading the ring on the axle. and that is going to stay at constant distance from the sensor. speed variation isn't going to change anything. i could be wrong, but i doubt it.

well im running 215/65/15 in front and 215/60/15. i have bigger ones in front because i was getting my a flat changed and the guy was like theyre brand new ill give them to u for $20 each and i was like hell yea. but anyways the extra sidewall feels like it helps the car on rough roads or whatever u dont feel the bumps as much, although im probably losing some gas mileage. BUT THE POINT IS NO ABS LIGHT. sorry i tend to blab to much.

Your car is geared up a bit, that's all. Your maximum acceleration will be off a little. Possibly your fuel consumption might improve slightly. There will be no problems with the ABS.
