Starter, Battery, Alternator or Alarm?

Hi guys, I hope one of you experts can help me.

My 96 max stranded me today and I don't know what the issue is..

I stopped off for lunch (didn't arm the car) and when I went back to start the car it barely started, (I never usually give it gas when I start, just turn the key) then I made one more stop on my way home (this time I armed the car) and when I went back, disarmed it it wouldn't turn over. Only sound it made was a click. The lights worked, all power accessories worked, just would turn over. Was like it was imobilized.

Called a towtruck to jump it. Guy came and used one of those portable batteries, connected the leads and I tried it. Dead! Still didn't turn over. Guy said he had a reading from the battery that there was power. He told me it was probably the Alarm, Starter or Alternator.

Any suggestions before I have it towed? Any last things to try?
Although she stranded me, I still don't want to leave her in the bestbuy paking lot overnight.. LOL

+1 if it was the alarm or the battery the starter wouldn't be cranking at all

It will not usually crank at all if it's the solinoide, but you'll have full power to everything else.
