Clicking sound from brakes when stopping?
Well, Just replaced the axles because the drivers side was really bad, and the other side the sound started to happen a few months ago. So I thought that the sound was coming from axle on the pass side too. It turns out that is was not the axle making that sound.
The only thing I can think of is the Wear clip but it is about 1/8" away from the rotor, unless it is getting close when I hit the brakes I don't know. Well I did these brakes last year in may of 07 and I did the Brembo/Axxis deal from the Group deals. ( I am starting to think that he screwed me because Kevin thinks he did not sell me Ultimate's because my Rims get pretty dusty bad after like a few weeks. Not to mention my rear red calipers are like black in a few weeks too, Kev said real Ceramics should last at least a few months without dust. Or a year like he jokes. lol
Well anyway, It is making a scrap click sound and they are D/S so all I can think is they are wearing out.

series like someone is holding a straw or a metal stick on the rotor but it only happens when I am really slowing down. It will not happen on the highway or over 30mph. I start hearing the sound when I am down to 15mph. I have not taken the wheel and caliper off to inspect it because I thought it was the axle. Well guess not. Maybe debris is stuck between the caliper and pad is all I can think of next to the safety wear bar.

Hey austin, It's probably a loose fitting pad sitting up against a warped rotor, no matter how minor.
Test is to spin wheel in the air and look through the wheel at the brake pad, chances are you will be able to visibly see the pad move back and forth in it's holder everytime it hit's that 'bump' on the rotor.
Fix is to make sure you check or replace the pad holder shims, as well as have the rotor turned. I saw this a week ago caused by a seized e-brake cable. Pad's were low mileage and not glazed, I had the one rotor turned, tweaked a shim + regreased them, took care of the e-brake cable that caused the problem (auto = disconnect one side), scuffed the pads up and re-bedded them into the newly turned rotor.

Thanks kev. I did not think u heard it when you were driving it, mainly cause it needs to be driven at least 30mph and then stop slowing at like 10mph to hear it. Well in that case I am gonna take them apart next week anyway cause I need to paint the fronts like I did to the back.
The pads have very very thin pads on them. BTW, Kev, Do you know how I can tell visually if they are ceramics next time? Like is there colored ones out there that you definitely know they are ceramics? The pad itself did look like metallic. I paid $100 bucks for all the pads from this guy and the stopping power was an amazing increase, but you are right the dust is way too much too soon. I did however notice that it was much better then the stock nissans but I think it should be better then a few weeks without cleaning them...
I don't think I am gonna buy rotors off this guy again, I believe the front is starting to warp because of this sound and if I am on the highway and I jam them I can hear feel vibrations.
