Just a little heads up.
I was working on my I30 because the trunk wouldn't pop when I hit the button. I heard the solenoid click so I knew I was getting power to it but it didn't pop the trunk. The fix turned out to be very simple, loosen the 2 bolts holding the solenoid in place and slide the solenoid towards the drivers side of the car. Did that and it now pops up.

Just figured I'm not the only one who has had the issue.
