Maxima is US, Teana is Japanese?
I was thinking of debadging the "Maxima" on the back trunk and putting "Teana" in it's place, am i correct in thinking that Teana is the Japanese name for Maxima? Thanks for your input.

^^ Nailed it on the head. The Teana took over for the Cefiro in the Japanese Domestic Market in '04. Though it shares the same platform as the US Maxima and Altima it's not quite the same thing.

Edit:
Seems kind of pointless considering the Teana badge is just says "TEANA" in a plain font. The trim level badges would be pretty cool, but they don't have one for a 3.0 liter (i.e. 350JM trim = vq35de but there is none for the vq30 - see link above)

Teana is not same as our maxima, after 6gen up maxima became a north american market only. Maxima production shifted to US and not imported to anywhere else so maxima as we know only exists in US market.
