I am curiuos if 5spd maximas (4th gen) have rev limiters?

yea there are rev limiters, i have had the pleasure of burying my 97's but in my 95 when i was trying to get some quick launches on a slick surface, i spun through second and bounced off my rev limiter like 20 times, i guess its at like 6,800

I had JUST told him that on AIM.

 

When I hold the brake and rev the gas at the same time, my revs stop at 2300 RPMs, so my launches get no added power, and absolutely no spinnage. Damn auto's.
