you just have to make offsets. I have my set so that my mevi opens at 5400rpm but its set to 3000 rpm and i adjusted the gain.

a green light comes on whenever the switch is activated. adjust the dip switch settings and fine tune with the screw until it turns green at the desired RPM, when you're pressing the gas in neutral.

Get the SUM-830449. To be honest, you should probably just buy it form kzoshoo. I'm sure he'll be able to beat the ~$50 shipped that you'll be spending if you buy it straight from summit.

Harlan FTW

I have had it on mine for years now trouble-free, and have installed many MEVI's, all with Harlans, and everyone else is still happy too.

alot of people say harlan causes trouble.....and although summit is for v8's its not a big deal ajusting it and it will work forever without problems...i think i have my mind set on the summit, just have to get it cheapest possible! =]

I use the VAFC-II and kill two birds with one stone by being able to use it as an RPM switch and as a way to tune the car. I got mine for a really good price on ebay.

Yes i use that one, I currently have it set at 5,000 RPM with the pulse set to 3 and the white wire is ran directly to the ECU signal on my ECU it's a really nice RPM switch, nice and tiny yet very efficient.

Here is a link to the RPM Switch I use
