95 Max need help with Vafc

95 Max need help with Vafc

Well i look at the write up followed it step by step and well idk. i got the Grey wire from the vafc to pin#23 and on the vafc its showing 100% the whole time and i spliced the MaF pin #54 to the vafc with the Yellow being closer to the ecu and it was like i didnt have no maf i coudnt rev past 2500rpms

Heres my layout:

Vafc1 ECU
Blue Pin # 50
ReD Pin # 67
Orange Pin # 67
White (closer to the ECU) Pin # 54
Yellow (closer to the ECU) Pin # 54
Grey Pin # 23
Green TAM Screw on the back of the cluster
Black Pin # 55
Brown (closer to the ECU) Pin # 55

I have the settings on 6cylinder tith the thr. going up

why didnt you do the green wire to the tachometer pin (#5) on the ecu since thats where all the other wires are?

You have your Maf connected wrongly. The Maf signal is hijacked. The white wire connects to the maf sensor signal and then the yellow wire is connected to pin 54. So you have to cut the original Maf wire.

also orange wire??? what is the orange wire for?

edit: I think you are referring to the power wire. They are both red.

Where does the pink wire go? It seems a little vague in the diagram.

The VTEC wire (Pink) could be used to activate the 00VI or the MEVI's shorter intake runners (the VIAS solenoid).

I think.

correct pink wire only used when having vtec in a maxypad lol
