Not really sure about this but shouldnt this affect RPM? like the little black **** in the IACV when i turn it clockwise should lower rpm and when turned counter should give more RPM, and does this only affect when my car is in Park or does it also affect Drive? and if it doesnt then why is my drive rpm really close to 500 isnt that way low?

sorry if some questions are dumb. im really new to working on cars.

 

500 is allright for when your idling in gear at a light after she warms up. mine has the same idle rpm but she's a 95 with high miles. no worries man, as long as its a steady 500 or so.
