window regulator or motor?
my front driver side window has been driving me crazy for a long time now. it rolls down with no problem, but roll ups can be real slow and sometimes it would even freeze right in the middle. then i have to press the down button and then up again for it to get going. i think i need a new window motor, but some people tell me it could be the regulator. how can i be sure of which i need? i got a 96 se btw. also, where can i pick up a window motor or regulator cheap? i rather not go to the dealer. unless i have to.
regulator sounds bad to me.
PM me for a price on one.
I would recommend removing the door panel and watching the window go up and down to make sure of exactly what it is.
it could possibly be the window track as well. Unusual but possible.

I used to have a 93 Grand Am where the window would only move about an inch before stopping. Then I had to wait a minute before it would move again. The circuit breaker was always kicking out. It ended up just being the whole thing needed a good lube job inside the door. Worked great after that. You could try that.
