This Made my day!

OMG I had to register to reply to this thread!!!!!!!!
This car came into my shop the other day!!!!!! WEIRD!!!
I replaced the starter on it. Its a 98 GXE if I remember correctly.

Well anyways I asked the owner what was up with the top, and he told me that he had gotten it brand spankin new from the dealer like that. He said it was the last one they had on hand that year and it was on display.(Why display it like that?)

When it came into the shop I was like, "This is a desgrace" But this car is up in The Colony.

HAHAH... that's where I spotted it. I think the dealer might be hiding something with the top?

What shop do you work at juanv08?

I think that roadster Maxima would look even more slick w/o the spoiler.

I wonder how much money was spent on these cars?

I wonder if he did anything the engines; or if he's just a true ricer. Wanting to make them "look" faster than they actually are.

I don't think he was trying to make it look like it was fast, some people like unique rides and some like performance rides. Both blue and beige maxima's look good, Lots of time spent on them-I could see it putting those cars out of commision for several months. As for that maxima with the fake conv top....major fail, prolly some hail damage.

Big SUV's do this too, its not for the passengers, but for the poor people stuck in traffic behind the car. And you know with that sounds system its perfect..

I think he just needs a rumble seat in the trunk, give those rear screens a purpose. You then have a convertible, 7-passenger Maxima.
